Hoop-De-Doo News
The Hoop-De-Doo committee has been hard at work planning a festive evening for Sunday, April 18th from 6pm-10pm and we hope you are planning to attend.
This is an event unlike any that we have done before.
Hoop-De-Doo at the Moulin Rouge will be a night of live music, food, drinks, and silent auction. This year we will have delicious food stations including a Potini Bar! (If you don’t know what a Potini is, you really need to come!) The silent auction includes our wonderful class baskets and much more fun stuff. We also have a few surprises in store for you.
So get a babysitter and plan on a fun evening of festivities and fellowship.
We still need help. We know you are contributing to the classroom baskets. If you haven’t, here is a little incentive. The classroom basket that brings in the most money at the auction will receive a pass for no homework for a week. For Pre-K and Kindergarten, a pajama and movie day will be awarded. So keep the donations coming!
Our auction committee is also hoping you can help out in getting more items for us. Students will receive a free dress coupon for every auction item (outside of classroom baskets) that they bring in. Three or more items will earn them a free homework pass.
How do you get these items? Print out the auction donor form and take it to a store, restaurant, entertainment venue or any place you frequently patron. We will be happy with anything they can offer. Here is a list of items we would love to have:
Vacation homes
Beach house
Airline tickets
Restaurant gift cards
Party catered by local restaurant
Handmade items
Sports tickets
Concert/Broadway tickets
Electronics-TV, Barnes and Noble Nook, Ipad, Ipod
Spa services
Sports memorabilia
Jewelry/handbags/accessories
Hunts
You may turn in your item(s) and donor form(s) to the school office.
You may also buy something yourself and donate it to the event. Remember, donations will be tax deductible. Thank you for your support.
Tickets are $50 a person and are now available for purchase at the office. Invite your family and friends to come Hoop-De-Doo with us! We promise you a good time! Let’s Hoop-De-Do it!
